This 7.8 magnitude earthquake took place on the 25th of April 2015 in Nepal. The epicenter of the earthquake was located about 80 km northwest of Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital city. The earthquake struck Nepal just before noon at a shallow depth of only about 15 km below ground. The earthquake was followed by around 120 aftershocks, including one that measured 7.3 on the 12th May. Around 8583 people were found dead and many more injured. Many people are living in fear from the earthquake.
